Standard Warranty Coverage

6-Month Warranty

USED/REFURBISHED

3-Month Carry-In

Customer pays shipping both ways

What is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty components due to production issues
  • Parts that fail during normal use within warranty period

Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty is VOID if the item has been:

Installed or Soldered

ANY item that has been soldered or installed carries NO warranty. We cannot determine if installation was done correctly.

Physically Damaged

Bent pins, cracked boards, broken connectors, liquid damage

Misused

Used for purposes other than intended, excessive force applied

Surge or Load Shedding Damage

Electrical damage from power surges, brownouts, load shedding events (especially power supplies)

Insect Damage

Damage caused by insects, pests, or rodents (cockroaches, ants, mice, etc.)

Tampered With

Evidence of attempted repair, modification, or unauthorised opening

Incorrectly Installed

Issues caused by improper installation or connection

Firmware/Software Issues

We only warranty hardware defects

Special Warranty Conditions

Power Supplies (PSUs)

NO standard warranty on PSUs

Due to susceptibility to electrical events:

  • 72-hour DOA (Dead on Arrival) warranty only
  • Test your PSU thoroughly within 72 hours of receipt
  • After 72 hours, we cannot accept claims as power issues are caused by external factors (load shedding, surges)

Cables, Ribbons, Ports, Clips, Connectors

NO warranty on these items

These are fragile components easily damaged by:

  • Too much force during installation
  • Incorrect seating or alignment
  • Bending or twisting during installation

Extreme care is required when handling these components.

Electronic Repair Components (BGA Chips, IC Chips, SMC Chips)

NO warranty once installed or soldered

These components are:

  • Extremely sensitive to heat and static
  • Easily damaged by novice installers
  • Impossible to verify if fault is from the chip or other console issues

We cannot verify which chip is returned to us (security measure). Even professional workshops sometimes damage these during installation.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Claims

If your item is faulty on arrival:

of receiving the item

Steps for DOA Claims

  1. Contact us immediately via email or WhatsApp
  2. Provide order number, description of fault, and photos/video if possible
  3. DO NOT install or attempt to use the item further
  4. We will arrange collection and send replacement or refund

Warranty Claim Process

If your item fails within the warranty period:

  1. Contact us with:
    • Order number and purchase date
    • Description of the problem
    • Photos/video showing the issue
    • Confirmation that item has NOT been installed or soldered
  2. Evaluation:

    We will assess if claim is valid based on warranty terms. If approved, we provide a Return Authorisation (RA) number.

  3. Shipping:
    • Valid warranty claim: We cover shipping costs both ways
    • Invalid claim (no defect found): Customer pays return shipping
    • Used/refurbished items: Customer always pays shipping (carry-in warranty)
  4. Repair or Replacement:
    • We will repair or replace the defective item
    • Decision to repair vs replace is at our discretion
    • Replacement may be with refurbished unit of equal functionality
  5. Turnaround Time:

    5-10 business days from receipt of item. We will keep you updated on progress.

Warranty Limitations

  • Warranty is non-transferable (only valid for original purchaser)
  • Warranty does not cover consumables or normal wear and tear
  • Repaired or replaced items carry remainder of original warranty or 30 days, whichever is longer
  • We are not responsible for data loss or software configuration
  • Warranty only covers the specific part purchased, not damage to your console
