What if your PlayStation is still under warranty?

All PlayStation consoles are sold with a 1 year warranty.

With the PlayStation 3 consoles, they are much older now, and there is no warranty on them anymore.

We can do all your PlayStation 3 repairs for you from as little as R899.00, with a 3 month money back warranty.

With the PlayStation 4, they also only come with a 1 year warranty from Sony, but there are a few things you need to know and consider, before you claim for a warranty on your PlayStation 4 repairs here in South Africa.

The first problem you going to run into, is that Sony don’t do any PlayStation repairs here in South Africa.

This means that they will replace it for you, with a refurbished one with a 3 month warranty? and that also means that you will lose all the data you currently have on your hard drive right now.

The PlayStation consoles are made so that you can’t just take your current hard drive out and just put it in the refurbished PlayStation. As soon as you do that, when you boot up the refurbished one, it will ask you to install the software again, and format the hard drive at the same time too.

This is why customer bring their PlayStation 4 console to us to repair, even if they still under warranty, you then know the history of the console, and if the repair doesn’t involve a hard drive problem or software issues, you won’t lose any of your data.
